Home after a fantastic overnight stay at High Corner. Between my sister, daughter and grand-daughter we had two very comfortable dog friendly cabins and a double classic bedroom in the hotel. The location is fantastic (right in the heart of the New Forest with ponies and donkeys wandering around) and it is at the start of a great walking circuit with another pub half way round. The chef is to be congratulated on fantastic food including the best hummus we have ever tasted, a delicious beetroot tart and breakfast dishes cooked to order exactly as requested. The lovely Assistant Manager Victoria provided outstanding service and a special mention for our evening waiter Laure - he was so charming. Thank you for a lovely break.

We had such a lovely stay! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to the lady running breakfast – she was absolutely wonderful, so warm and attentive, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for local walks around the area. The rooms were comfortable and well looked after, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful extras provided for dogs. Dog towels, little jackets and balls for walks. The outdoor dog bath was a brilliant touch – perfect after a muddy walk! Love the area and have stayed here lots of times. This was the best yet though. Massive thank you to staff. We are already planning our next trip for summer.
