This is a great pub. Ali was on shift and he really looked after us, was friendly and welcoming, even though we turned up as the kitchen was closing for the night. We went on Tuesday burger night which was brilliant value. Dogs are welcome here, as are campervan stopovers. Fabulous beer garden with a miniature railway and climbing frame for the kids in the summer too.

The food was quite good, very delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, many items were unavailable... (I really wanted to try the lobster share plate and the mac and cheese...). It’s a great place for families since they provide a play area for kids. Sadly, when we visited today (on a bank holiday), the little train at the back wasn’t running. This is definitely a place I’d be willing to visit again. Hope they will have everything next time when I visit again.
