Love coming here with our golden retriever. Dog friendly, great beer, amazing breakfasts. Service is always really quick and friendly, nice big beer garden & the points loyalty scheme is great when ordering through your phone. Had a delicious lamb shank today. Have also been here on some of their live music nights, they always have good bands in! Would definitely recommend as an affordable and dog friendly family pub 😊

Popped in for lunch. Ordered pie and chips, toad in the hole and kids nuggets. Honestly looked awful, the pie had been microwaved and tipped onto the plate upside down. The toad in the hole was a Yorkshire pudding filled with mash with sausages on the side and some frozen veg. However, despite appearances, it actually tasted quite nice. The sausages were particularly good, although the Yorkshire in fairness was microwaved and inedible. Prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady on the bar. We had a lot of fun playing darts and chatting with customers, and they made us feel very welcome, including the dog. Bonus points for having Murphy's on draft. Just need someone with a bit more experience in the kitchen and they'll be laughing.
