Amazing venue, food and the staff couldn’t do more for you! We recently hired the stables for our wedding reception and I couldn’t rate it highly enough! The food was excellent and the staff were amazing and brought such a brilliant energy to our evening! Katie who has been looking after us since the start has been more helpful and done more for us than we could have asked for. She planned the perfect party for us and kept everything running perfectly all evening. It was so much fun and I can’t recommend this venue enough if you want a casual wedding like we did. Thank you all so much for making our evening so special!

Stopped for lunch on the way to York. Had done a bit of a search to find a dog friendly pub with a decent rating in the vicinity of the M1. We got there around 45 mins before our reservation time, and was met with a smile and "no problem"👍🏻 Super friendly and welcoming staff. Got us a nice table inside aroynd the bar area, assume it was the dog friendly area. The room was VERY cold and we had to ask the waiter if they could do something about it. He did close the front door which helped a bit. We chose focaccia bread and a selection of dips to start and it was absolutely delicious. For mains we had scampi and a chicken burger. Both were really tasty. For desert we both chose a "small dish" ...waffle with ice-cream. The waffle was disappointing... It was doughy and chewy and sprinkled with mini marshmallows and what I think was tiny pieces of caramel or fudge... Looked a bit like a children's desert. Overall we really liked the place and the starter/mains and would probably be back on out return south.
